Lord Filkin to deliver Age UK & Institute of Gerontology Annual Lecture – in Memory of David Hobman

The Department of Social Science, Health & Medicine is delighted to announce that it will once again host the Age UK and Institute of Gerontology, King’s College London, Annual Lecture in memory of David Hobman. This year’s lecture will be delivered by Lord Geoffrey Filkin CBE, on the topic “The Benefits of an Ageing Society”.

Refreshments will be served from 5:30pm. The Lecture begins at 6.00 p.m. and will be followed by a Q&A, after which you are invited to a wine reception. Attendance is free, but please RSVP to gerontology@kcl.ac.uk.

Together with Age UK, the Institute of Gerontology at King’s has run this distinguished lecture series since 1988, and has played host to a number of renowned figures in the gerontological sphere.
